The junks that were confiscated were towed away by the Japanese to an unknown

Between 1st January, 1938 and 30th June, 1938 in addition to the boats given in
these lists, there were 25 cargo boats and 7 fishing boats, which were not based
on Hong Kong, molested, burnt or confiscated.
When these reports were made, and the masters claimed to have been born in Hong
Kong, there was no reason to dispute their claims. quite a number of the claims
were enquired into and found to be correct.
